Originally from the State of Utah, I spent the majority of my summers in the Lethbridge area and Waterton Lakes National Park. I spent two years living in the Paris France area on a service mission for my church. After returning, I graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah. My family and I next moved across the country to Maryland. There I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland and then moved to Calgary where my wife is from.

My wife and I have four children. We love spending time with them. I like to spend time outdoors hiking, camping, swimming and paddleboarding. My family loves anything to do with sports and spend time together playing and watching sports. We also love to travel and see other parts of the world.

I have been practising in Calgary for nearly 17 years. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and strive to make sure each patient understands their treatment options. I also am able to communicate with patients in Spanish and French which helps me maintain my language abilities but more importantly helps them understand procedures and options. I have particularly enjoyed treating children and helping them feel at ease. For those patients who prefer treatment under sedation, I have 16+ years of experience with both oral sedation and IV sedation. I was fortunate to be able to provide dental care at a children’s hospital in Haiti on a humanitarian trip. I look forward to being able to provide dental care on more of these service trips in the future.

Dr. Kevin Chan was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where he graduated from Old Scona Academic High School. He began his studies in the Pharmacy program at the University of Saskatchewan, where he completed 3 years before being admitted into the Dentistry program and then graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Dr. Chan loves interacting and meeting new patients. He prioritizes building an honest, transparent, and trustworthy relationship with them. Dr. Chan enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is eager to provide the best individualized care for his patients. He is also a member in good standing with the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta, Alberta Dental Association, and Canadian Dental Association.

In Dr. Chan’s free time, he enjoys playing the guitar, travelling, and playing basketball and hockey with friends. He is also an avid hockey fan and considers himself a foodie as he loves trying new foods and hole-in-the wall restaurants

I was born and raised in North Delta, BC and recently moved to Calgary. It's been over five years since I decided to work in the dentistry field and it's been an amazing experience so far. I am so glad that I get to work with an amazing team at Nolan Hill Dental. I love the values and the culture of this office.

When I am not at the office, you will either see me travelling, or spending time with family and friends.‍

I lived in South Calgary for 12 years and recently moved back to the northwest to move in with my boyfriend and be closer to my family. The south was where I spent the last 13 years in veterinary medicine. I helped families welcome a new puppy, to later caring for critical and emergent patients at an animal hospital.

Recently, I decided to go back to school for dental office administration to start towards a new career path. I'm excited to dive back into working with the (human) public again and helping welcome new patients to our practice!

In my time away from work, I like to go for dog walks with friends, meet for coffee in different areas of the city, hit up a boxing class or get beat playing video games with my boyfriend.

I am passionate about helping people achieve healthy smiles while building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with my patients and the community. I believe dental care is not just about treatment, but about trust, education, and genuine connection.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my Labradoodle Hazel, curling, golfing, and relaxing with a glass of wine.

Back home I used to be a volunteer patient to receive free dental care. Those experiences planted a seed in my heart and it became a passion to be working in the Dental world so I can serve and provide dental education to as many people as possible. What I love about Nolan Hill Dental is the family oriented Team, all driven with the same values and goals.

Outside work, my time is mostly spent with family and friends.

I joined the Nolan Hill Dental family in April 2021. I feel blessed to have found such an amazing group of individuals to work with. I love the friendly and fun atmosphere found here, and enjoy being part of a family-oriented office.

I graduated from the College of the Rockies with a Registered Dental Assistant certificate in 2000. I have worked as both a Dental Assistant and as an Administrator in the role of Office Manager. I have a vast amount of knowledge to help answer my patients questions.

When not working I like to spend time with my boyfriend and family. We like to spend our time outdoors hiking, biking and playing tennis. We also love to travel, most recently we went to Hawaii.

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, my husband and I made the move to Calgary in 2022 with a desire for a new adventure and a passion to chase our dreams. I am a lover of animals (5years of experience as a veterinary assistant), hiking in the mountains, and walking the aisles of Homesense with a Starbucks coffee in hand.

Fun fact about me: I taught English in a small village in Thailand and that experience opened up my heart to working in the healthcare field and having the capability of helping those that are in need.

My desire as your dental assistant is to make your experience at the dentist as comfortable as possible! I love seeing my patients smile and helping them with their oral health goals. As a new member of Nolan Hill Dental, I feel so grateful to be a part of such a supportive and caring team of healthcare professionals.

Outside of work I love to spend time with my 2 kids around the city and outdoors. I love to travel anywhere HOT and sunny. Good music and food makes me happy : ).

When I’m not at work I spend my time doing activities with my husband and our two girls.

My parents immigrated to Canada from Vietnam in the 70's, fleeing from poverty and war, they had no idea the importance of teeth and gum health until unfortunately it was too late. For a long time, I knew I wanted to be in health care. But most of all, I knew I wanted to provide compassionate, quality care, that was free of any judgement, just as if it were my own parents sitting in the chair.

I am originally from Toronto, Ontario. In Sept 2023, I drove across the country with my husband and senior dog. So far, we have been loving Calgary! I have been a hygienist for over 5 years now. I love getting to know patients and building a rapport. I aim to provide optimal oral care and a comfortable experience for everyone.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing and hot yoga.

I was born in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Originally I started my career in a peaceful ski town called Kimberley in BC. In 2015, I moved to the prestigious city of Calgary, Alberta where I have practiced dental hygiene alongside the best clinicians Alberta has to offer! My primary goal is to ensure that my patients develop a fundamental understanding of their oral health and its effect on their immune system.
